The academy
Where the music of our roots is passed on.
Academia Mis Raíces calls itself the first regional Mexican music academy in Utah. In West Valley City, students learn to play an instrument, to sing, and to read music, with the sounds of mariachi, norteño, and sierreño at the center of every class.
Their students perform on stage, and the academy shares their progress with pride: “Nuestros niños son talento puro.”
